Our club was started better than forty years ago by several gentlemen for the purpose of enjoying the sport of archery and to introduce new people to the sport and this is the mission of our membership today.
We work with many youth groups for the purpose of introducing them to archery. We have several certified instructors and members who enjoy sharing the thrill of archery with a new shooter. We will furnish the equipment and our time free of charge. If you have a group, young or old, who would be interested, contact us and set up a day with us.
Our club is located on nearly 80 acres of wooded ground with the Little Beaver Creek bisecting it and a beautiful view of the Greenway trail. It is home to one of the most challenging, yet shooter friendly 3-D courses in the area. For a map to the club go to 3-Dshoots.com, then open the Columbiana county Archers Club under clubs.
We have listened to past shooters and are taking major steps to better the course and not take away from the challenge of shooting our unique terrain. Lost arrows is a major concern of ours because it discourages new and economically concerned shooters. We will be adding back stops to many of our challenging shooting lanes. So, bring the kids to shoot; they will have fun with you and they shoot for free. We can furnish them with bows also.
Again, we listen to what our shooters say and want. Because of the response we received about the O.B.A. scoring, we are going back to I.B.O. scoring.
